Numbers 3:6-8

⁶ Bring the tribe of Levi near, and present them before Aaron the priest, and they will minister to him. ⁷ They will keep his directives, and serve the whole congregation before the tent of meeting, to do the service of the tabernacle. ⁸ They will keep all the instruments of the tent of meeting, and attend to the needs of the children of Israel, to do the service of the tabernacle.
